This month’s movie selection is Free Swim (50 min.). Directed by Jennifer Galvin, it documents the lives of Bahamian islanders who paradoxically don’t know how to swim. After the movie we’re planning to have a special video conference with director Jennifer Galvin. We will also have a drawing for a DVD copy of the film and you can mention it on Twitter (#dbrlfilm) for a chance to win as well.

The movie will be shown Wednesday, June 30th at 7pm in the Columbia Public Library’s Friends Room. This event is free, but please call to reserve your seat at  573-443-3161. This event is a part of the Water Your Mind: Adult Summer Reading program.
