Cinema Eye Honors 2011

January 19, 2011

The documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop received the top honor in nonfiction feature filmmaking last night at the Cinema Eye Honors awards show held in New York. The Cinema Eye Honors, now in their fourth year, recognize and honor exemplary craft and innovation in nonfiction film. The taped awards show will air on the Documentary Channel January 30th.

The awards had local tie this year as Columbia artist Ben Chlapek did various illustrations to represent each nominated movie. You can check out his illustrations on the Cinema Eye Honors website or on Chlapek’s website.
