New DVD: Armadillo

We recently added Armadillo to the DBRL collection. The film played at the True False Film Fest in 2011, and currently has a rating of 92% from audiences at Rotten Tomatoes. Here’s a synopsis from our catalog:
Janus Metz’s Armadillo follows a platoon of Danish soldiers on a six-month tour of Afghanistan in 2009. The film presents a stunning account of both the horror and growing cynicism of modern warfare, the film premiered at the top of the box office in Denmark, provoking a national debate over government policy and the rules of engagement.
