New DVD: Prohibition

We recently added the Prohibition series to the DBRL collection. The three episode series was originally broadcast on PBS earlier in the month and is the latest series from documentary filmmaker Ken Burns who has done other series such as The Civil War, Baseball, Jazz, The War and The National Parks. Here’s a synopsis from our catalog:
Viewers go beyond the oft-told tales of gangsters, rum runners, flappers, and speakeasies to experience the rise, rule, and fall of the 18th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Special features include additional scenes, and interviews.
