New DVD: Comic Con Episode IV, A Fan’s Hope
We recently added Comic Con Episode IV, A Fan’s Hope to the DBRL collection. The film played at the 2012 True False Film Fest and and currently has a rating of 82% from critics at Rotten Tomatoes. This latest documentary by director Morgan Spurlock also features local comic artist Skip Harvey. Here’s a synopsis from our catalog:
A film that explores the cultural phenomenon that is Comic-Con by following the lives of five attendees as they descend upon the ultimate geek mecca at San Diego Comic-Con 2010. Included are interviews with Comic-Con veterans who have turned their passions into professions, including Stan Lee, Joss Whedon, Kevin Smith, Matt Groening, Seth Rogen, Eli Roth, and others.
