The epic 10 episode history of Jazz by director Ken Burns. The soundtrack is a 5 disc set, but don’t forget to check out separate cds for Charles Mingus, Coleman Hawkins, Count Basie and John Coltrane.
“Shine a Light”

British rock band The Rolling Stones give a live concert filmed in 2006 by director Martin Scorsese. Soundtrack features the Rolling Stones with various guest stars like Jack White and Christina Aguilera.
“Man with a Movie Camera”
Movie DVD – Music CD
This classic documentary from 1929 flows from subject to subject with no words. Many soundtracks for this movie exist, but musical group Cinematic Orchestra created a unique modern version in 2003.
