New DVD: StoryCorps Animated Shorts
We recently added StoryCorps Animated Shorts to the DBRL collection. The DVD is a compilation of stories gathered by the StoryCorps project and animated by the Rauch brothers. These animated shorts have been previously broadcast on the POV series on PBS. Here’s a synopsis from the StoryCorps website:
StoryCorps’ original animated shorts series features some of our best-loved radio stories. Now they are available on DVD! The series includes conversations between a boy with Asperger’s syndrome and his mom; a feisty grandmother regaling her family with tales from her youth; two Brooklyn characters remembering how they fell in love and learned how to let go, and so much more. Plus bonus material from the animators!
