New DVD: Brutal Beauty: Tales of the Rose City Rollers
We recently added Brutal Beauty: Tales of the Rose City Rollers to the DBRL collection. The film played at the Ragtag last year and has received some positive reviews from viewers. Here’s a synopsis from our catalog:
A ‘Fight Club’ for women, [this film] is a harrowing and fun take on girls finding themselves through the hard-hitting contact sport of roller derby. Portland’s local heroes, The Rose City Rollers, tell how derby saved their souls and changed their lives.
