New DVD: Orson Welles’s F for Fake
We recently added Orson Welles’s F for Fake to the DBRL collection. The 1974 film was Orson Welles’s final finished film as a director before he died, and it currently has a rating of 88% from critics and audiences at Rotten Tomatoes. Here’s a synopsis from our catalog:
Trickery. Deceit. Magic. In this free-form documentary, the legendary filmmaker gleefully engages the central preoccupation of his career – the tenuous line between truth and illusion, art and lies.
