I’m Still Here on DVD

December 13, 2010

We recently added I’m Still Here to the DBRL collection. The movie garnered quite a bit of controversy this year, and critics were divided in their reviews of the film. Here’s a synopsis from our catalog:

A raw, fictional documentary on Joaquin Phoenix’s career transition from the acting world to a career as an aspiring rapper. Sometimes funny, sometimes shocking, and always riveting, the film is a portrait of an artist at a crossroads. Defying expectations, it deftly explores notions of courage and creative reinvention, as well as the ramifications of a life spent in the public eye.
