We recently added Being Elmo to the DBRL collection. The film played at the Ragtag last year and currently has a rating of 92% from critics at Rotten Tomatoes. Here’s a synopsis from our catalog:
A documentary film following the man behind the the beloved children’s icon, Elmo; examining the life of puppeteer Kevin Clash; providing a behind-the-scenes views of Sesame Street and the Jim Henson Workshop; and featuring interviews with Frank Oz, Rosie O’Donnell, Cheryl Henson, and Joan Ganz Cooney.

We recently added The Captains to the DBRL collection. The film currently has a rating of 100% from audiences at Rotten Tomatoes. Here’s a synopsis from our catalog:

We recently added An American Family: Anniversary Edition to the DBRL collection. This DVD is a two hour collection of memorable moments from the groundbreaking 1973 television series. The series has been getting a lot of attention this year with many PBS stations rebroadcasting the entire 12 hour series and HBO releasing the fictional movie Cinema Verite based on the series. Here’s a synopsis from our catalog:
On January 11, 1973, Americans stepped into the home of the Loud family of Santa Barbara, California. Chronicling the lives of its family members, the series made them household names. During the seven months that they lived in front of the camera, viewers watched dramatic life events unfold, including Pat asking for a separation from her husband Bill, and the bohemian New York lifestyle of their gay son, Lance.
